US President Trump banned Tik Tok After India

US President Donald Trump has issued an executive order against the BiteDance company, calling the TikTok app a ‘threat’after india . This order states that during 45 days no transaction will be done with ByteDance under US jurisdiction. The US Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration and the United States Armed Forces have already banned the use of TikTok on federal government phones.

Citing Indian action, the US said in the order, ‘The Indian government has recently banned the use of TikTok and other Chinese mobile apps across the country. India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said they were stealing data and transmitting users’ data unauthorizedly to servers that have servers outside India.

On 29 June, a few days after the Galvan incident, India banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok. After which the list of ban app has been further increased. On 15 June, there was a violent confrontation between Indian and Chinese forces in which 20 Indian soldiers were kill. Chinese soldiers were also injure in this clash. Since then, India has taken action against Chinese companies doing digital strikes on China.

It is say in the order of the US government that, ‘Tik tok automatically collects the information of the users. It also includes information about internet and other networks. Such as location data, browsing and search history. By collecting this data, the Communist Party of China can threaten and misuse the American people.
